 FAQs

  • Services operate on a self-pay basis, meaning I do not currently participate as an "in-network" provider with insurance companies.

This approach grants you greater autonomy and flexibility in managing your therapy journey. However, I understand that financial constraints can be challenging, and don't want this to hinder your access to support.

If rates are not feasible for you, please don't hesitate to reach out to see if there are available reduced rate slots and discuss your concerns!

  • During the first session, I will conduct an initial assessment to gather information about your concerns, goals, and personal history.

Feel free to write down a list of topics or questions you'd like to discuss if that's helpful for you. Otherwise, I will go over your questionnaire and paperwork and get to know you to see if we might be a good fit! I will provide referrals if we determine that your needs would be best met with a different approach or service.

  • No Surprises Act
If you don’t have health insurance or you plan to pay for health care bills yourself, generally, health
care providers and facilities must give you an estimate of expected charges when you schedule an appointment for a health care item or service, or if you ask for an estimate. This is called a “good faith estimate.”

    A good faith estimate isn’t a bill.
The good faith estimate shows the list of expected charges for items or services from your provider or
facility. Because the good faith estimate is based on information known at the time your provider or
facility creates the estimate, it won’t include any unknown or unexpected costs that may be added during
    your treatment.

Generally, the good faith estimate must include expected charges for:
    • The primary item or service
    • Any other items or services you’re reasonably expected to get as part of the primary item or service
    for that period of care.

The estimate might not include every item or service you get from another provider or facility, even if
some items or services may seem connected to the same service.

  • Paying out of pocket grants you more privacy, autonomy and choice in your treatment frequency, types of treatment and helps me have freedom to work with you however we determine together is best for you without insurance dictating treatment.

Just like you are investing in yourself when you pay for other services, this is a major investment in your wellbeing as well.
